A NOTE FROM BOOKER

Hello!

School here at BOOKWORM is starting soon. Are you ready for the new year, or have you already started back to school? The worm kids around here really want to start back to school. They say they are tired of being home, and they want to hurry up and start learning new things. My next door neighbor, Binda Book, says she wants to have more summer vacation. She just can't get into the mood to start school yet. I thought I would help her get into the mood by making a basket of new school supplies for her. I also put a few books in the basket that are about starting school. I am hoping that after she reads them, she will get excited about school, too.

Are you not in the mood to start school? If not, you might want to read the Back to School books that Binda Book is going to read. Binda Book reminds me a lot of Amber Brown. I bet the Amber Brown book will be her favorite one, since Binda Book is going into second grade, too. Binda Book also seems to find trouble around her, like Amber Brown.

Remember that school is a great place to get a book club started. If you are interested in getting one going, check out our Book Clubs department to read some hints and tips to help you!

Now on to this week's news...

--- Booker T. Worm
