This is a great book about A girl who lives all alone with her dad and the only family she has is her aunt and dad or so she thinks she then overhears her dad talking to her aunt and finds out that he is keeping a secret from her about her mother who died when she was very young with a little help from her friend and some research she finds out the truth about her mother and father and why she moves so much I recomend this book to kids 11-14 it's really good I think it should win an award

Right now I am reading a book called A Year Down Yonder By Richard Peck. A Year Down Yonder is about a girl from Chicago, Illinois during the Great Depression. The girl's father has lost his job and is, like many from the Great Depression, very poor. Because of this the girl is sent down south to live with her grandmother. While living there the girl and her grandmother have many fun adventures. A Year Down Yonder is great book and I would advise it to anyone who is looking for a wonderful book to read.
